February ‘What The Future Holds’ Fairyloot Unboxing.

Well, this ended up being posted a little later than planned, but I am still excited to be bringing you my Fairyloot What The Future Holds unboxing. Here is what Fairyloot had to say in the announcement.

We are so excited to reveal the February theme for our monthly box and it is… WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS!
Where might humans be in 1,000 years from now? Will there be artificial intelligence roaming the streets, flying cars? Or will we be living in a dystopian world? What if we discovered some form of magic? The future holds limitless possibilities, and this theme explores those ideas!
You can expect items inspired by Warcross, Vicious, Red Rising, The Lunar Chronicles and more! We are thrilled to reveal that one of the items in this box is a hand poured soy candle from @flickthewick. It’ll be perfect to keep your home cozy!
Our featured book of the month is an epic fantasy adventure full of rune magic, rebellion, and finding where you truly belong. You can expect family bonds, unlikely friendships and a powerful ancient army, which if awoken will change everything! This FairyLoot exclusive edition will have an EXCLUSIVE COVER, SPRAYED EDGES, ARTWORK ON THE REVERSE OF THE DUST JACKET, FOIL EMBOSSING ON THE CASE and will be SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR.
Spots for new subscriptions are currently CLOSED, but you can sign up to the waiting list http://eepurl.com/g2MAxr. The best way to get a subscription at the moment is to sign up to the waiting list – we invite people whenever more spots become available every month.

How great does this box sound?! Let’s get straight onto the unboxing.

The first item in this box is this cute little set of moon shaped fairy lights.

Up next we’ve got a cushion cover inspired by Pierce Brown’s Red Rising series. The artists for this are @lizzart_zardonicz and @chattynora.

I’m a huge fan of this next item, which is a Warcross inspired cutlery set. I have found that these cutlery sets are perfect weight and shape for eating without kicking in my sensory issues, so I have actually bought a second set of these from a friend who also got the box. The artist for Emika, who features on the front of the container is @warickaart.

Most of us love a good candle, and that is what is next from this box. This Iko candle is from @flickthewick.

Finally, we have an enamel pin inspired by V. E. Schwab’s Villains series, and was designed by @jezhawk.

Now onto the monthly items. This month’s Tarot cards are the Five and Six of Wands. The artist is @arz28 and features characters from Elizabeth Lim’s Spin The Dawn.

Time for this month’s Fairyscoop, author letter, and the theme spoiler card and bookmark.

It’s the time you have been waiting for! Book reveal time! The February book of the month is:

This Golden Flame –
Emily Victoria.

This edition is signed, has sprayed edges, an exclusive cover, gorgeous foiling on the naked book, AND artwork on the back of the dustjacket! The art on the reverse of the dustjacket, the foiling on the book and on the author letter were all done by @warickaart.

It’s time for the full unboxing photo! What did you think of this box? Let me know in the comments below.

As always, theme art used as featured art belongs to Fairyloot and Taratjah, all unboxing photos are my own. All links will take you to the relevant Instagram page.
