Fairyloot May ‘Warriors & Legends’

This May I decided I really wanted to try a ‘proper’ book box. A box that would give me all the kinds of goodies I’d been seeing all over Instagram and a book to go with it. After A LOT of research about boxes, genres, costs etc. I finally settled on Fairyloot and I’m so glad that I did!

Fairyloot allow you to do a couple of options in regards to buying boxes. The options are  a single buy box or subscription (Single month, three month or six months). For May’s ‘Warriors & Legends’ I chose a single box option. The box wasn’t too expensive for what you pay in my opinion. £32.95, which is the box, VAT and tracked shipping.

⚔️ The book we’re featuring is a VERY highly anticipated novel from a bestselling author. The story is set in feudal Japan and is a mash up of Mulan and 47 Ronin. We loved this book SO much, and wanted to reread it right after finishing it! The writing is simply exquisite, and we’re sure you are going to love this book as much as we do! It will also come with a signed bookplate, letter from the author and many more goodies.

Obviously I thought this sounded great! I had great fun chatting to friends about what we thought the book might be. Here’s my full unboxing:

To start with there was this cute metallic feather pen. Writing with this is smooth and my only warning is that it can smudge. This was from a store called Flora’s Wonder Emporium. This could have been 1 of 5 different colours.

Next up we have a green tea called Warriors & Legends from The Tea Leaf Co. It is a green tea with lychee and jasmine.

The other item which there was a variation for was the candle from In The Wick Of Time. They were Flame or Mist. I got Mist, which smells lovely.

It doesn’t happen very often but this box has a second mini book in it. The book was World Mythology in Bite-sized Chunks by Mark Daniels.

Fairyloot also added this cute pair of celtic warrior socks

 

My favourite item from this box was easily the ‘one ring’ woodmark from Ink And Wonder.

As always the art for Fairyloot have been done by Taratjah. Here was May’s themed art print and bookmark.

In every box Fairyloot supply a little bag. This little bag contains the book, a letter from the author, a signed bookplate from the author. the monthly Fairyscope and buddy reader code.

The Book for May was Flame In The Mist by Renée Ahdieh.

Whilst this box was one of the best I have seen from Fairyloot, I thought it was a great first box. Full unboxing:
